Course #917 Technical Theater I This course will introduce students to stage safety and proper management of stage equipment and properties. Course structure will be balanced between intellectual understanding and hands-on activities. Students will be involved in the operation of sound and lighting equipment, as well as drops and scenery. They will also be creating original scenery and backdrops, and will be exploring the creation of stage properties using non-traditional objects and sources. |

| Course #918 Technical Theater II Prerequisite: Students must successfully complete the Technical Theater I course with an 86% or higher. Technical Theater II will take the stage tech student to the next level of experience and creativity in set construction, lighting design, sound design and stage effects. This course will also continue to stress safety and proper management of stage equipment and peoperties. Tech II will engage the learner in the creative process from the initial concept to the finished product. |
